Gym Adventures

I never thought going to the gym would be such an adventure. You see the gym bums, the super skinny girls, and then every once in a while see things and can't help but laugh. This morning was one of those mornings. Virginia and I were done working out and were on our way to the sauna. We made a little pit stop to the lockers to put our things away and Virginia very cautiously rounded the corner. I asked her what was taking so long and she said she's just afraid that someday she will round that corner and see some naked person there. Well, there wasn't so we put our stuff in the locker and headed for the sauna. As soon as we came out of the locker area there she was...that naked person that Virginia was afraid to see. Oh the irony!!!! It was kinda awkward because she was headed to the showers and you'...weird, so weird...yet, sooo funny.

My Cute Lil' Nephew!!!!

Every aunt thinks their neices and nephews are the cutest...but really...look at this kid and tell me he's not cute! He loves playing the piano and he smiles all the time. He's just so much. Too bad he didn't live closer. Oh well...at least he's part of the family!!!

Finally Updated!!!!

So I didn't realize how completely behind I was on my blog til I wanted to show someone and the most recent post was last summer. It's been quiet the undertaking getting things back to where they should be.
Anywho...this year has started out pretty great. After spending a couple weeks a home over the holidays I was so ready to be back in Provo. I got things all in order for the semester, for Relief Society, and found a new found determination to do something amazing with my life. I love where I am in life right now.
  • I have a good job working at The Bridal Center where I sell and alter formal gowns and wedding dresses. I have learned so much and it's just been fun. My favorite are the prom girls...they are just so excited to be in a pretty dress and they tend to show a little more excitement and enthusiasm.
  • I live in Provo...for some people that doesn't seem like a good thing but i really do love it. Having mountains so close, having amazing friends, and learning how to drive in city traffic has been great. I never would have imagined living in Provo, UT but it's opened up a new chapter in my life-a good chapter at that. I've had some of the greatest experiences and have met some of the best people.
  • I have decided to go back to school...scary, crazy, exciting, fun!!!! I can't wait to start again. This time I totally have direction, sort of, and a 5 year plan. I think I have finally decided what I want to be when I grow up. We'll see if if all pans out. Wish me luck cuz I'm totally gonna need it

What more can I say...life is good!!!

Christmas Morning...December 25, 200

Ever since we moved into this house this had become our Christmas morning tradition. We all sleep down stairs so nobody peaks and usually end up watching movies, quoting those movies, and just laughing till we all fall asleep or until Breelyn tells us to stop so Santa will come! By the time morning comes we are all so exhausted that our singing doesn't sound like singing but more like mumbling, really bad mumbling.

6 am and we look rockin! This was such an enthusiastic year...or not :)
I think Seth is reading the dictionary. Why? Not really sure, not really sure. Simone, being the good person she is, listens intently...

A couple years ago my Mom decided to make opening presents last a little longer. She assigned a number to each present and to each kid. We all pick one present with a number and then decide which present goes to which kid. Just so you all know...this takes 5 times longer and 6 o'clock in the morning. I gave up and I'm pretty sure everyone did too. Well, everyone but Seth and Breelyn. They were going strong...thanks guys!!!

I really wasn't kiddin when I was talking about us being enthusiastic. After we opened presents we all kinda crashed. I can't wait till there are more little kids around...they make Christmas a lot more entertaining, even though we do a pretty good job now!

Yep...6 am and lookin good!!! Merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve 2009

Most families have some sort of a Christmas Eve tradition. Like many other families everywhere my family shares the same tradition...pajamas!!! Every year we sit near the tree and carefully open the long awaited Christmas Eve present. Okay, some not so carefully and others...well, let's just say some of us tend be sorta on the obnoxious side. :) Then there is always the pj fashion show. Last year Taneya and I came out together and it kinda turned into a tradition. This year we decided to go with Steve Urkle approach. It didn't last too long when we finally decided to just model away. After this many years I think we are really getting good! HAHA! We looked rediculous but it was fun. So many memories!!!

Christmas Season Adventures...December 2010

I decided to try something new...a collage of all the fun Christmas festivities we had here in good ol' raintree. Food is definitely the center of our festivities here...we got really into dipping chocolate, pretzels, and anything else we could think of to dip in chocolate. The popcorn was a masterpiece thanks to Kellie!!!! And it was delicious. The snow angels came about because that was the first real snow fall of the year that actually stuck. It was quite and adventure and we almost had a casualty, but don't worry...Kellie and I survived to tell about the epic event!!!

Annual Day After Thanksgiving Bowling...November 27, 2009

So every year we go bowling the day after Thanksgiving and it is always a blast! We normally get a couple games in but this was a little different. The first round was completely serious...who could get the highest score. The second round was basically to see how goofy you could bowl and the third was just normal and only about half of us kept bowling. Mom didn't want to ruin her amazing score!!!
This isn't the best picture we have ever taken but still a fun one...
Cute and cheesy! Kambrie, Taneya, and Marc
Just so you know...I really am that good! Ha! Can't you tell by the form?!
Go Bryler!!! No bumbers even...my little brother is growing up! ;)
Funny story...every Dad always gets the best score-ALWAYS. Well, this year proved to be slightly different. Dad finally came out on top in the third round. We all decided we had to come back after Christmas and have a re-match. We'll see how good that goes.
I believe they were seeing if they could actually bowl in sync...almost there girls!
I think Seth gets into this more and more every year. I think he has finally gotten the hang of the curve ball after quite a few years of practicing. He does pretty well now :)
So this is were the goofy begins. This way is so much more fun, in my opinion. A little competition every once in a while is nice but this is just too good of entertainment!!! If you have never tried you should. It's one of those things that should just be on your list of things to do someday. You won't regret it and you might get addicted...it's just that fun!
Yep...I got a strike!!! Or at least I pretending I did so Mom could get a picture.
Simone just waitin for her turn. She's been so great and is so much fun. Definitely glad that she's apart of the family!!!
