The Pumpkin Patch
It's that time of year once again and I was click happy. Lincoln had so much fun running everywhere and looking at everything. His favorite attraction, by far, was the animals. They even had a little kangaroo...what?! He didn't really care about the kangaroo though. He loved the pigs, llamas, and goats. When he got to the llamas he excitedly told us what they were...don't know where he learned that one from but cool. :)
Then we headed out to the pumpkin patch. Maybe next year he will be more excited about the pumpkins but this year he was excited about all the dirt and the tractor taking people for rides. But he helped pick out a couple of pumpkins and didn't want to leave. This boy L.O.V.E.S. the outdoors and despises having to come back inside...it's a constant battle but I'm so glad he loves to play and be outdoors. By the end of our trip he little eyelids were noticeably heavier. Luckily he stayed awake long enough to make it home and eat lunch and then went right down for a nap! What a fun day!

30 Weeks
It's all downhill from here....yay!!!! I definitely remember life with newborn and honestly I would take that over being pregnant right now. I am so so ready for this baby girl to come and grace us with her presence! I want to be able to play with Lincoln like I used to. Getting down on the ground to his level and playing cars or chasing him are getting so hard! I feel bad and we end up watching too many movies but we go through flash cards like crazy and read lots of books. Luckily Chris can still wrestle with him and chase him and help get rid of all that energy. Last week I had my glucose test and now I am waiting the results...I just pray I pass so I don't have to go get poked 4 more times. I also had to have another test done to check the amount of bile salts in my blood. I asked the doctor if itchy hands and feet are normal (cuz last pregnancy I really didn't experience anything too bad). I wake up about 2-3 times a night because of the intense ache and itch and nothing helps to ease it except ice packs. Hopefully all is well and I just have to take a Benadryl and keep icing them. All these pregnancy symptoms and things are rough...how in the world do women do this more than twice!?!?!?

The Pond
I made Chris come with me to scout out some places to take family pictures this fall and we found a pond just two minutes from our house! Cool! Turns out you can fish there too...Chris really wants to take Lincoln and start teaching how to fish. Anyway...we decided to go back and feed the ducks, play at the playground, and just run around so Lincoln can get all his energy out before dinner. The duck were a hit! After we ran out of bread Lincoln tried to feed the ducks grass and even decided to try some for himself...weirdo. It was a great little family outing and there was almost nobody there. It was nice to just let Lincoln run and not have to worry about a busy road. I think we will be going back to the pond and park often!!
