The Zoo

Before we went to the Zoo we decided to have a little picnic out on the swing set...so the dog wouldn't eat our yummy lunch. And then Lincoln went and picked his first dandelion. I got my first "flower" from Lincoln that day....so cute! And then it was fun at the Zoo!

Ryder was super nervous about getting this close to the dinosaur.

Lincoln wouldn't let go of his cereal bag...

It was so fun to hang out with Breelyn, Seth and Simone and the kids....good memories!

Outside fun

Lincoln and I got to go visit my parents for 10 whole days...without Chris...that's a long time! But we made the most of it and had a blast outside pretty much every day while Breelyn and Bryler were at school. His favorite were the sprinklers. It was too much fun watching him discover the sprinklers would move and catch him.  He sure loves the water though! Then we walked around so he could dry off a bit.

Lincoln loved walking around with Kubota.
Our daily walk consisted of saying hi and nigh night to the horses, then the chickens, and then spend the rest of the time hanging out with the cows. Lincoln loved the cows!!! He would scoop up the hey they tossed over while eating and watch them all come to try and eat.

He also learned how to climb...and fall when he's not paying attention.

He also found out that when you push the rope...eventually it comes right back at you! He wasn't expecting that one at all!

Easter

Easter egg hunts were so fun this year. Lincoln had lots of fun finding eggs and more fun finding out there was candy inside! He was also master thief as the cousins were trading candy and they never noticed.

Making a house a home

We finally put our stamp on our house...we painted one room! Yay! So many more projects but at least we got this one done. It was fun to watch the transformation and now I can't wait to completely finish the room. Decorations, new bedspread, curtains, pictures....the list goes on!

*Ignore the lighting and coloring on some of these pictures...my camera was having troubles! The paint color is really a pretty sage green color...
